who i am and who i am not...

My name is Karthik, but friends also call me eskay. I am a fun-loving guy. I love to hang around with friends and enjoy. I am doing my third year B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Trichy.

According to me, academics is very important. I maintain a good academic record. I am not a person who studies only the college syllabus. I always feel that there is no limit to one's knowledge, and so one must always have a passion towards learning more and more. And being in Computer Science department, it is very important to keep myself updated with the latest trends in technology.

I love doing work and keeping myself busy. And I expect a bit of perfection and neatness in my work. I am not a person who likes clumsiness or careless work. I would have full devotion in whatever I do.

Two important things that I consider close to my heart are books and friendship. I love reading books. They are the source of endless knowledge. And I respect friendship. Without friends, one's life would be like a flower without any petals. According to me, friends add colour to one's life.

I like music very much. I play the violin. I have been learning carnatic music for the past 8 years. I am a disciple of Violin Maestro Padmashri Dr. Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan. I have been performing violin concerts for the past 5 years.
